the underside of the ring's setting has scratch marks and a small hole where the pin back was removed (see photos 7, 8, 9). the back of the ring has an oval with an oval bezel-set piece of glass in it — choose to wear it like this as a locket, or remove the insert

the vintage gold markings are are only partially visible because of the addition of the ring band
